"Adrift" is an accordion fold photography book that reflects on the
effects of climate change. The project began on a year-long
South-to-North journey from Antarctica to Alaska. Pairing photographs of
Antarctic icebergs and empty Iñupiat Eskimo hunting cabins, the book
offers a commentary on the parallel effects of global climate change at
opposite ends of the Earth. The images are accompanied by essays (by
Martin Pedersen, Rori Knudtson and Jean-Marie Casbarian) and a brief
introduction by the author (Magda Biernat).
